Estimates, not guarantees
Every figure on PumpTally is an estimate. Fuel economy, distances, driving times and fuel prices are based on typical values and published averages, and your actual costs will differ with your vehicle, load, speed, route, weather, traffic and the prices at the stations you use. Don’t rely on these numbers as the only basis for a financial, legal or safety decision. Always follow road signs, vehicle limits and rental company rules.
Data sources
Fuel prices are weekly retail averages published by the U.S. Energy Information Administration. Driving routes and distances come from the Open Source Routing Machine using map data © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License. Town names and locations come from GeoNames, licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0; distances between towns without a stored route are estimates. State outlines come from U.S. Census Bureau boundary data. We don’t control these sources and can’t guarantee they are complete, current or error-free.
No warranty
The site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted availability.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, PumpTally and the people who run it are not liable for any loss or damage, direct or indirect, arising from your use of the site or reliance on its estimates.

The design, text and code of PumpTally belong to its owners. You may link to any page and share results. Links to other websites are provided for convenience; we don’t endorse them and aren’t responsible for their content.
Changes
